Tread softly...

...for you tread on my dreams...

Day 21

"As the mist descends we risk losing our way. A perfect time to rest until a clearer day."

Day Yesterday...

This was a photo I snapped yesterday looking out at part of the 'old hospital' while I was making the mail run up on sixth floor. I love the brick and artwork on the old parts of our building as it has character and life (at least, to me). And if you look closely you can see all of the snow. :)

DAY SEVENTEEN!

BO VEGGIES FROM LUNCH. THEY ARE DELICIOUS AND THEY SMELL DELICIOUS, TOO.

Day 16!

Obviously, in addition to the "migraine relief" and Starbucks (and tampons, out of range), I needed two different kinds of chocolate. After all, you never can tell when you may be involved in a true chocolate emergency. I always say.

Day Sixteen (aka Memory Lane)...

The best thing about having little girls is that you get to be a little girl all over again with them.

12 January

Okay, so I decided againt posting ice/snow pics, because I'm nothing if not unpredictable. HAHAHA. Honey bunches of JOKES... ANYWAY:
This is my owly hat, which I sported today in the brisk, winter weather with which we were suddenly graced. He looks kind of nervous about his big debut. Poor owly.

Day Something and such...

What a difference 48 hours can make...

The Infamous Chocolate Tray Du Jour...

This is the tray that my main doc started keeping after I started working there. Coincidence? I think not.

11 January

This is my paperweight at work. It was my great aunt's, and it reminds me every day what really matters in family, and what can't be found in a court room: love.

10 January

On my drive in to work. Maybe one day it will stop raining. Until then, at least rain is pretty? Am I the only one who thinks rain is pretty? I do. And I kind of like this shot, randomly. With the "mom and kid crossing" sign and the school zone lights flashing ahead.

Day Something or other....

FOR JULES: This is where all the little dental college students play football during nice weather. <3!

Niner

Apparently there's a rather important college football game on television tonight...
No, really, it's all ANYONE can talk about down here. Oh, SEC. Don't be so dramatic. ;)
(Roll Tide! *ahem*)

And on the eight day...

My youngest daughter with a sandwich that she made all by herself. Can you TELL? LOL

On the eighth day

Home is where the hearth is...
This is in the family room at Nana's house this morning right when the sun came pouring in the windows. At Christmas, Papa and Uncle Bob could be found there telling jokes with their heads falling back in laughter, or various cousins standing up there performing Jingle Bells, or all of us piled on there for the dreaded (and now cherished) group pictures. At Easter we used to have to line up in front with our baskets before The Hunt in the front yard. Some variation of us have to sit there each holiday or birthday or any group gathering more than of about 7 since even with all the cushy chairs and the couch and even the table and chairs in the corner, it can get crowded. It's home, to me.

What I call day seven

Things that make me feel better on a bad day:
Starbucks and my Once Upon a Time desktop background. Hez isn't pictured (alas, she is not in my kitchen), but she makes me feel better, too. <3

Day Seven...

...it's MY side of the bed. It's filled with BOOKS of all things. Who's surprised?

Day Five - the sun also rises

I know we're supposed to do one photo a day, but I figure maybe these "rules" are a jumping off point to start negotiations. /Clueless

Evening, day three...

Meant to post something this morning, but was running late for work (blegh), so here, have a looksee at the blurriest sunset shot ever. :P

Day Three...

My laptop with a Merlin and Arthur vid on, my book I'm in the middle of reading, Country Living Magazines (as a part of streamlining my life, I'm going thru old magazines and taking out what I want and recycling the rest of it - GO ME) and my fleece new-sew blankie that I had made for my granny before she passed on and it got passed back to me after she passed away. All of this is on my bed that I share with my fave guy.

This is one of my fave places in the world.

Day Two for Hez

Just a little glimpse at a small shelf that sits above our TV in our kitchen. I'm still figuring out how to use my cameraphone, bear with. LOL.

How I roll on day two

I don't know if this is the way anyone else would do a blog like this. I didn't even really know if I wanted to describe the pictures or what we're doing until Hez did so eloquently on her first post. I love seeing an aspect of her life that I can't see from a Google chat and don't get from a phone call. And as she said, I can't imagine not having a part of her in my day-to-day. I feel like a little bit of journaling along with our pictures suits us and the way we do things, and the way our lives go, and the way our friendship works.
So this is my second post of the new year. Instead of cleaning the bathroom, I took a picture of it. Here is my vanity, in all its non-glory, dust and stray bobby-pins where they may be. :P

And so it begins...

So Jules and I have been discussing the idea of sharing photos every day since she came across a book where two internet friends had done that very thing and really for people who have been friends for seven years what could be more fun? I'm looking forward to the idea of seeing the day-to-day of Jules' life that I don't get to 'see' over the 'nets. We've met in 'real life' only once but I still can't imagine not having her around in my day-to-day anything.

So without any ado, my first picture.

A Dog's Day
